All About Bingo

Bingo is a game of chance where players mark off numbers on cards as they are randomly drawn by a caller. The first player to complete a predetermined pattern (usually a straight line) calls out "Bingo!" to win.

B Column (1–15)

The first column contains five unique numbers randomly chosen from the range 1 to 15.

I Column (16–30)

The second column holds five numbers from 16 to 30, sorted in ascending order.

N Column (31–45)

The middle column has four numbers from 31 to 45 plus the iconic FREE space in the center.

G Column (46–60)

The fourth column contains five numbers drawn from the range 46 to 60.

O Column (61–75)

The final column has five numbers from 61 to 75. A standard American bingo game uses 75 balls total, giving each card a unique combination of 24 numbers plus the free space.

Popular Bingo Variations

  • 75-Ball Bingo: The classic North American version played on a 5×5 grid.
  • 90-Ball Bingo: Popular in the UK and Europe, played on a 9×3 ticket with three prize tiers (one line, two lines, full house).
  • Speed Bingo: A fast-paced variant using only 30 balls and a 3×3 card.
  • Pattern Bingo: Players must complete specific shapes like letters, diamonds, or blackout (all squares).
